Job Details
  • We are hiring immediately for full-time PREP COOK positions.
  • Location: Baptist Memorial Hospital- DeSoto - 7601 Southcrest Parkway, Southaven, MS 38671. Note: online applications accepted only.
  • Schedule: Full-time. Hours and days may vary, including some weekends and holidays. More details upon interview.
  • Requirement: Previous culinary experience preferred. Willing to train!
  • Pay Range: $15.00 to $18.00 per hour.

Job Summary

Prepares food and serves customers following applicable standards and regulations.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Obtain daily production schedule and requirements from the Chef.
  • Prepare items on production sheets following established recipes.
  • Complete and follow daily production worksheets and waste logs. Taste meals to ensure quality.
  • Operate and clean equipment after use.
  • Store, label, and date all food items according to policy, following HACCP guidelines.
  • Complete required documentation and logs.
  • Comply with health and sanitation regulations.
  • Take customer orders and prepare items requiring short prep time.
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously.
  • Use approved recipes and standards to ensure quality and portion control.
  • Resolve customer concerns.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
