Job summary

Currahee Club, located in Toccoa, GA, part of Troon, seeks a driven Prep Cook to join its hospitality team. You will learn quickly, contribute to a fast-paced property, and grow within a global golf and community management leader.

Responsibilities include following recipes, preparing food, ensuring freshness, equipment preparation, proper labeling and inventory, plus maintaining a clean, compliant station. High school diploma or GED required; 1–3 months related experience preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 1–3 months related experience or training.
• Includes ability to read and speak English as needed for job duties.

Responsibilities

• Follows recipes and product directions for proper food preparation.
• Maintains quality control and fresh product daily.
• Transfers supplies between storage and work areas by hand or cart.
• Prepares appropriate equipment for cooking and operates kitchen utensils.
• Ensures proper food handling, wrapping, labeling, stocking, rotating and temperature checks.
• Receives and inventories food and beverage supplies.
• Cleans and sanitizes work stations and equipment.
• Performs additional duties as assigned by the Department Manager.
