Bickford Senior Living is hiring a Prep Cook to support the culinary team in a restaurant-style dining experience called the Bread Basket. The role involves meal preparation, proper plating, and delivering quality service to residents in a supportive care environment.

Compensation starts at $15.50 per hour with full-time benefits; part-time and PRN options include voluntary enrollments and 401(k) with employer match.

Responsibilities

• Prepare meals following Bickford’s menus and expectations.
• Serve food timely, at correct temperatures, and properly plated.
• Follow the Kitchen Daily Task Guide and Bickford’s processes.
• Interact with residents in the Dining Room to enhance dining.
• Wash dishes and clean kitchenware per procedure.
• Use the Meal Order Information form to track diets and allergies.
• Maintain records and store food per regulatory policies.
• Complete tasks from the Kitchen Rotational Cleaning Schedule.
• Keep kitchen and dining areas compliant with standards.
• Stock Bistro/Beverage Bar with appropriate refreshments.
• Coordinate with Kitchen Manager for tours and events.
