Job summary

J. Alexander's Restaurant is seeking a Prep Cook to join our fast-paced, scratch kitchen. You will help execute recipes, maintain station sanitation, and support the line and expo teams to deliver top-notch presentations.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age to operate kitchen equipment.
• Previous kitchen / culinary / chef experience is preferred, but not required.
• Experience and knowledge of kitchen equipment including knives, slicer, mixer, stoves, and ovens required.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a professional, fast-paced scratch kitchen with high presentation standards.
• Execute proper food recipes and follow company specifications; maintain cleanliness of station and workspace.
• Follow proper sanitation protocols; handle opening and closing duties and cleaning tasks.
• Coordinate with assembling, expo, and management teams to ensure smooth service.
