Job summary

Flanigan is hiring a Prep Cook to organize prep work and support the kitchen during service. You will follow the recipe manual, maintain plate presentation, and help ensure smooth operation by stocking stations and coordinating with the floor and vendors.

The role requires reading recipes, following safety protocols, and lifting up to 50 lbs. You will work a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Qualifications

• Able to work flexible shift schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Can stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Able to read recipes and food labels.
• Able to read POS ticket orders and ensure proper food flow.
• Complete and pass food safety certification program.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Prepares menu items according to Flanigan's recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Ensures rotation of all products and stocks products to par level.
• Helps complete assigned prep work, to stock and set up stations as necessary.
• Transports items to and from kitchen, helps Vendor unload delivery trucks.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen area throughout shift.
• Breaks down and cleans all stations at closing.
