Job summary

Flanigan’s is seeking a Prep Cook to organize prep work and support daily kitchen operations. You will prepare items according to the recipe manual and ensure proper plate presentation while maintaining high sanitation standards.

Responsibilities include rotating stock to par levels, assisting with station setup, transporting items, and closing cleanup. The role requires physical stamina, ability to lift, and strict adherence to safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Able to work flexible shift schedule including nights, weekends, and/or holidays.
• Able to stand/walk 100% of shift.
• Able to reach, bend, and stoop.
• Able to read recipes and food labels.
• Able to read POS ticket orders.

Responsibilities

• Follows all company safety and sanitation policies and procedural training.
• Prepares menu items according to Flanigan’s recipe manual and plate presentation.
• Ensures rotation of products and stocks to par level to prevent disruption.
• Assists with prep work, stocks and sets up stations as necessary.
• Transports items to and from kitchen and helps unload deliveries.
• Cleans and maintains kitchen area during shift.
• Breaks down and cleans all stations at closing.
