You will follow prep lists, read recipes, and prepare ingredients for hundreds of menu items with pace and accuracy. You will operate kitchen equipment, maintain safety and cleanliness, and support back-of-house operations.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of food preparation, handling and safety standards.
• Ability to multitask with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Proficiency with kitchen tools, equipment and culinary techniques is a plus.

• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow a prep list and complete tasks efficiently with speed and urgency.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements and portions.
• Prepare ingredients using knife skills (chopping, dicing, slicing).
• Use cooking methods including boiling, broiling, roasting, sautéing, frying and grilling.
• Prepare ingredients for 200+ menu items and manage food labeling and FIFO procedures.
• Operate ovens, fryers, broilers, flat tops, grills and slicers.
• Maintain organization, safety and sanitation throughout prep tasks.
• Support teamwork with clear communication and work well under pressure.
