The Cheesecake Factory is seeking skilled Prep Cooks to join our high-volume kitchen. You will follow structured prep lists, read and execute recipes with precise measurements, and prepare ingredients for hundreds of menu items with careful portioning and consistency.

You’ll work closely with a supportive team to ensure food quality, safety, and timely service. Ideal candidates bring prior kitchen experience, strong knife skills, and a commitment to hospitality.

Competenze

• Prior kitchen experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Proficient with kitchen tools and culinary techniques.
• Knowledge of food preparation, food handling, and food safety standards.
• Ability to multitask with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand for extended periods.

Mansioni

• Follow a prep list and complete tasks efficiently with speed and accuracy.
• Read and follow recipes with precise measurements and portions.
• Prepare ingredients with knife skills: chopping, dicing, slicing.
• Use cooking methods including boiling, broiling, roasting, sauteing, frying, grilling.
• Prep ingredients for 200+ menu items, including sauces and dressings.
• Operate ovens, fryers, broilers, grills, and slicers.
• Label, date, and rotate food using FIFO procedures.
• Maintain organization, safety, cleanliness and sanitation.
• Adhere to food safety standards and prevent cross-contamination.
• Support teamwork with clear communication and stay calm under pressure.
