The Cheesecake Factory Incorporated is seeking a Prep Cook to join our high-volume kitchen team in a fast-paced, full-service restaurant. You will follow prep lists, read recipes, and handle multiple cooking methods to support hundreds of menu items.

Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Knowledge of food prep and food safety standards is desirable.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Follow a prep list and work with speed and accuracy.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements.
• Prepare ingredients using knife skills including chopping, dicing, and slicing.
• Use cooking methods including boiling, broiling, roasting, sauteing, frying, and grilling.
• Prep ingredients for 200+ menu items.
• Operate ovens, fryers, broilers, grills, tilt skillets, mixers, and slicers.
• Label, date, and rotate food using FIFO.
• Maintain organization, safety standards, cleanliness, and sanitation.
• Adhere to food safety and cross-contamination prevention procedures.
• Support teamwork with clear, effective communication.
• Work well under pressure while maintaining high standards.
