Qualifications

• Prior kitchen experience in the food service industry preferred.
• Proficient with kitchen tools, equipment, and culinary techniques.
• Knowledge of food preparation, handling and safety standards.
• Ability to multitask with efficiency and attention to detail.
• Reliable and punctual with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Follow a prep list and work efficiently with speed and urgency.
• Read and follow recipes with accurate measurements and portions.
• Prepare ingredients using knife skills including chopping, dicing and slicing.
• Use methods including boiling, broiling, roasting, sautéing, frying and grilling.
• Prep ingredients for 200+ menu items and sauces, dressings and soups.
• Operate ovens, fryers, broilers, flat tops, grills and slicers.
• Label, date and rotate food using FIFO procedures.
• Maintain organization, safety standards and sanitation.
• Support teamwork through clear, effective communication.
• Work well under pressure while maintaining high standards.
