Job summary

Moose's Tooth Pub & Pizzeria in Anchorage seeks a Prep Cook to prepare items with precision and efficiency according to our recipe specifications. You'll join a dynamic kitchen team, ensure a safe and clean workspace, and contribute to high-quality dishes delivered to the service line.

This role requires early morning availability; kitchen experience is welcome but not required. Candidates must be 18+, hold a Municipality of Anchorage Food Handlers Card, and be able to stand for long periods,

Qualifications

• Must be 18+ with Municipality of Anchorage Food Handlers Card.
• Kitchen experience is preferred but not required.
• Stand for duration of shift and lift 30+ lbs.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to safety, sanitation, and policy procedures.
• Extensive knowledge of menu items and ingredients.
• Fulfill orders accurately as dictated by par sheets.
• Follow recipes and take pride in every item.
• Safely use and operate kitchen machinery.
• Handle, store, date, and rotate products properly.
• Report equipment and food quality issues to a Manager.
• Communicate clearly with all staff in the restaurant.
• Complete opening, closing, and side duties.
• Work as a team with coworkers with kindness and respect.
