Job summary

Der Dutchman Walnut Creek in Walnut Creek, OH is hiring a part-time Prep Cook to support daily kitchen operations. You’ll follow established recipes, assist with prep, and maintain cleanliness and food safety standards.

Training is provided and on-the-job development opportunities exist in a friendly hospitality team. Applicants should have good communication, attention to detail, and the ability to read recipes; physical ability to lift up to 30 lbs is expected.

Qualifications

• Great communication skills.
• Attention to detail.
• Able to read and interpret recipes.
• Life and/or move 10 to 30 lbs.
• SafeServ certification, but we'll provide training if you don't have it

Responsibilities

• Use established recipes to make products
• Clean food-prep equipment and keep area clean
• Check production schedules to determine what and how much you should make
• Make sure items are covered, stored and dated properly
• Rotate stock using first in, first out method
• Change food containers in coolers/freezers as needed – noting date prepared
