Der Dutchman Restaurant Bellville is seeking enthusiastic kitchen staff to support daily food prep, maintain cleanliness, and follow established recipes. You’ll work in a busy environment with rotating shifts, including some weekends and holidays, and you’ll receive on-the-job training.

Qualifications

• Experience operating kitchen equipment and cooking.
• Maintain accuracy in food prep.
• Ability to learn and memorize recipes.
• Capable of working in a fast-paced environment.
• Team player with reliable work ethic.

Responsibilities

• Use established recipes to make consistent products
• Clean food-prep equipment and maintain cleanliness of area
• Check production schedules to determine variety and quantity of goods
• Make sure items are covered, stored and dated properly
• Rotate stock using first in, first out method
• Change food containers in coolers/freezers as needed – noting date prepared
