Job summary

The h.wood Group is seeking a talented Prep Cook for Lady Delilah. You will support kitchen operations by preparing dishes to the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, a positive attitude, and thrive in a team environment. Requirements include 2–3 years culinary experience, at least 1 year in a high-volume kitchen, a valid Food Handlers Certification, ability to work in hot/cold areas, and the stamina to stand up to 8 hours with lifting up

Qualifications

• Ability to work in hot/cold, wet areas.
• Stand up to 8 hours with bending, lifting up to 30 lbs.

• Attentive and detail oriented.

Responsibilities

• Anticipate prep issues and inform Chef or Management on Duty.
• Assist with the organization of all food products in the kitchen.
• Ensure proper food temperatures are maintained and stored correctly.
• Set up workstation with ingredients and cooking equipment.
• Operate standard kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned by Head Chef.

The Prep Cook willsupport kitchen operations by preparing dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s recipes and quality standards. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Anticipate prep issues and inform Chef or Management on Duty

• Must have a strong understanding of restaurant health and safety regulations.
• Basic understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
• Attentive and detail oriented.
