Job summary

Bartolino’s in St. Louis is seeking a dependable Prep Cook to help set the kitchen up for success. You will prep ingredients, supports line cooks, and ensure a clean, organized prep area. No prior prep cook experience is required as training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Wash, chop, slice, and prepare ingredients according to recipes and specifications
• Measure and portion ingredients for menu items
• Prepare sauces, dressings, and other components ahead of service
• Properly store food items and label them with dates to ensure freshness and food safety
• Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked prep area
• Assist line cooks and chefs during service when needed
• Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
• Operate kitchen equipment safely and report any maintenance issues

We’re looking for a dependable and detail-oriented Prep Cook to help set the kitchen up for success by ensuring all ingredients and stations are ready for service.

What You’ll Do:

• Able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs
• Team player with a positive attitude
