Job description

We are seeking a skilled part-time or full-time Prep Cook to join our team in Bloomsdale, MO. The Prep Cook will be responsible for preparing ingredients and assisting the kitchen team in the preparation of meals. The ideal candidate will have experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment and be able to work well under pressure.

Responsibilities:

• Prepare ingredients for cooking, including chopping vegetables, preparing meats, and measuring ingredients
• Assist in the preparation of meals, including cooking and plating dishes
• Clean and sanitize work areas and equipment
• Follow recipes and ensure that all dishes are prepared to the highest quality standards
• Assist in the ordering and inventory of ingredients and supplies
• Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure that all orders are prepared and served in a timely manner

Requirements:

• Previous experience as a Prep Cook or similar role is ideal
• Knowledge of food safety and sanitation practices
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and under pressure
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
