Prep Cook's Responsibilities:

• Accountable for production of food items while maintaining all safety and sanitation standards.
• Safely operate and maintain all kitchen equipment.
• Display a basic knowledge of cooking techniques and knife skills.
• Properly prep raw ingredients and items recipes for service while upholding proper sanitation standards.
• Uphold all standards of quality in food production by following standardized recipes, labeling, dating, and storing all product appropriately.
• Ensure proper sanitation standards are upheld by maintaining a clean and organized workstation, following FIFO procedures, and maintaining good personal hygiene.
• Complete all opening, mid-shift, and closing procedures in a timely manner.

Qualifications:

• Basic knife skills.
• Flexible schedule.
• Organized, hard worker.
• Food Handler's certificate.
• Previous kitchen experience.

This position is ideal for someone dedicated to providing great service and seeking to be part of a hardworking, fun team!

Physical Requirements:

• Lift and move up to 10 pounds; frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds; occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
• Safely and effectively use all necessary tools, equipment, and cleaning chemicals.
• Stand and walk for an entire shift, including moving safely through all areas of the restaurant, which may include stairs, uneven, and/or slick surfaces.
• Ability to bear exposure to hot and cold environments.
