Clyde's Restaurant Group is hiring a Prep Cook for The Tombs, located in Baltimore. You will prep vegetables, meats, and fish, use commercial equipment, and portion foods to spec.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and prep vegetables, meats and fish.
• Use slicers and processors to prepare foods.
• Operate ovens and gas ranges.
• Weight and portion foods using a scale.
• Label, date, and store prepped products.
• Clean and maintain prep area and equipment.

What We Look For In a Prep Cook

• Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service
• Experience as a prep cook desired, preferably in a high-volume restaurant
• Ability to read and prep recipes to measurements and standards
• Available to work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

What You Will Do As a Prep Cook

• Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and otherwise prepare raw vegetables, meat and fish
• Use a commercial food slicer to slice various meats, cheese, and vegetables
• Use a commercial food processor to prep foods
• Operate both convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges
• Lift, handle, weigh, and portion food items using a commercial portion control scale
• Label, date, and store prepped product
• Clean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floors
