Clyde's Tower Oaks Lodge in Rockville, MD is seeking a pastry cook to join a rustic, lodge-style restaurant. We offer competitive pay, flexible scheduling, and opportunities for training within a supportive team. Located in Rockville with free employee parking and easy access by local transit.

Qualifications

• Hardworking, attentive, and hospitality-driven with a desire to excel and maintain the highest level of service.
• Experience as a pastry cook, preferably in a high-volume restaurant.
• Available to work a variable schedule including early mornings, late nights, weekends, and holidays

Responsibilities

• Wash, peel, slice, dice, chop, and otherwise prepare raw vegetables and fruits.
• Use a commercial food processor to puree both raw and prepared foods.
• Operate both convection and conventional ovens and gas ranges.
• Lift, handle, weigh, and portion pastry items accurately.
• Use a commercial mixer to prepare batters and dough.
• Label, date, and store prepped product.
• Clean, wipe, and scour prep equipment and machinery, and sweep and mop prep area floors.
• Make a daily inventory of product and write a prep list if needed
