Rye Street Tavern, part of Clyde’s Restaurant Group, is seeking a dedicated cleaner in Baltimore. The role involves cleaning dining areas, restrooms, and surrounding spaces, with support for kitchen cleaning as needed. You will work within a team focused on hospitality and high cleanliness standards.

We offer flexible scheduling (part-time, full-time, and on-call), training, and a range of benefits to support staff development and well-being.

Qualifications

• Previous cleaning experience required; restaurant cleaning experience a plus but not essential.
• Familiar with safe handling and use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Flexible availability to work mornings, late nights, weekends, holidays, and weekdays as needed.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dining areas, restrooms, patio, and surrounding areas; assist with kitchen cleaning as needed.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors; ensure cleanliness.
• Empty trash and maintain orderly waste disposal areas.
• Disinfect surfaces including tables, chairs, counters, and equipment.
• Replenish cleaning supplies as needed.
• Adhere to daily cleaning checklists and health and safety regulations.
• Report maintenance issues to management promptly.

WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN A CLEANER

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
