Job summary

Grubbs Family of Dealerships seeks a skilled Preowned Automotive Technician to inspect, recondition, and service our used-vehicle inventory. You will ensure quality, safety, and frontline readiness.

You’ll diagnose mechanical and electrical issues across multiple brands, complete safety inspections, document repairs clearly, and work to keep reconditioning on schedule. We offer paid training and a supportive, family-owned culture.

Qualifications

• Automotive repair experience across multiple brands is a plus.
• Strong diagnostic and mechanical skills are required.
• ASE certifications are a plus.
• Owner has a basic set of tools.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record is required.

Responsibilities

• Perform thorough used-vehicle inspections and complete reconditioning to frontline-ready standard.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical issues across multiple makes and models.
• Complete safety inspections and any CPO-related certifications to the letter.
• Document all repairs clearly and communicate condition to management.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area and properly care for shop equipment.
• Work efficiently to keep reconditioning timelines tight so vehicles hit the line fast.
