Qualifications

• BSN required unless exceptions apply as detailed.
• BLS certification from an American Heart Association endorsed program.
• PALS and ACLS certifications (department dependent) within required timeframes.
• Current RN license in Nebraska or a compact state.
• Strong communication, initiative, teamwork and flexibility.

Responsibilities

• Provide, coordinate, delegate, and oversee nursing care for a designated group of patients.
• Collaborate with physicians and other health care professionals to ensure holistic care.
• Maintain a safe perioperative environment and ensure efficient patient flow.
• Assist in preoperative assessments and postoperative recovery in the PACU setting.
