Job summary

Nebraska Medicine is seeking a dedicated RN for the Preop/PACU at Bellevue Medical Center. This part-time position (30 hours/week) includes on-call responsibilities and requires providing comprehensive nursing care across perioperative settings.

The ideal candidate will hold a BSN, possess BLS and PALS (and ACLS/TNCC/ATCN per department) with Nebraska RN licensure or compact state licensure, and demonstrate strong teamwork and flexibility in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• BSN required unless specific exceptions apply.
• Effective communication skills required.
• Ability to demonstrate initiative, teamwork and flexibility.
• Currently licensed as a RN in Nebraska or a compact state.

Responsibilities

• Provide, prescribe, delegate, and coordinate nursing care for a designated patient group.
• Coordinate with other health care providers to meet holistic care needs.
• Work across care environments including long-term, emergent, acute, interventional, or procedural settings.
