Job summary

Qualifications

• RN license required or eligible for licensure in Colorado.
• Experience in perioperative nursing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCA Health.
• Assess patient’s preoperative and postoperative status at intervals according to facility policies, including cardiovascular, respiratory, neurological, and pain management needs.
• Interpret information from monitors and describe underlying pathophysiology of disease processes.
• Develop an individualized perioperative plan of care and implement interventions to ensure safe recovery from anesthesia.
• Provide hand-off reports to the team with accurate, concise, and pertinent patient information.
• Collaborate with other disciplines and participate in quality improvement initiatives.
