Job summary

United Surgical Partners International, Inc. is seeking a motivated Preop/PACU RN to join our Maryland ambulatory surgery center.

The nurse will deliver skilled preoperative care, monitor patients during all phases of anesthesia, and coordinate with surgeons and staff to ensure safe, efficient case management. The role requires a Nursing degree, three years in perioperative settings, and current RN licensure with CPR; ACLS may be required by center policy.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Nursing program.
• Three years of peri-operative clinical experience.
• Working knowledge of sterile technique and aseptic practice.
• Holds current RN license and CPR certification; ACLS may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing care.
• Assess, monitor, and document patient status and response to treatment.
• Prepare equipment, monitors, and supplies for procedures.
• Coordinate with surgical team to ensure patient safety.
• Maintain infection control and patient privacy standards.
