Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha is seeking a Scheduling Associate for the Prenatal Diagnostic Center. You will complete complex scheduling of multiple appointments for a patient and provide clerical support for scheduling and coordination of services and procedures.

You will assist patients, staff and physicians while upholding extraordinary care standards. The role features a Monday–Friday 8am–4:30pm schedule at the Durham Outpatient Center and involves facilitating referrals to ensure patients

Qualifications

High school education or equivalent required.
Minimum one year post-secondary education with business/medical support coursework or related experience.
Demonstrated analytical, prioritizing and organizational skills.
Ability to work in a proactive self-directed manner.
Ability to promote efficiency and confidence in the team.
Demonstrated flexibility and dedication to a team environment.
Effective communication and high-level customer service to providers, staff, and patients.

Responsibilities

Complete complex scheduling of multiple appointments for one patient and/or services on campus.
Provide clerical support for scheduling and coordination of services and procedures.
Assist patients, staff and physicians following scheduling standards and procedures.
Facilitate internal and external referrals and ensure patients attend appointments with consult notes.
