Job summary

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent.
• 3 years of general office experience including healthcare scheduling.
• Experience in clinical scheduling, intake, or referral coordination.
• Knowledge of scheduling health care services.
• Familiarity with CPT, HCPCS, ICD10 coding.
• Knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid and third-party billing protocols and pre-authorization guidelines.
• Ability to remain calm and handle confidential matters discreetly.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong customer focus and professional telephone etiquette.

Responsibilities

• Serves as the primary liaison between families, referring sources, MMI staff and clinicians.
• Coordinates the MMI scheduling process for clients referred for diagnostic evaluation and clinical services.
