Job summary

Nebraska Medicine in Omaha is seeking a Scheduling Associate for the Fred & Pamela Buffett Cancer Center. This patient-facing role handles front-desk check-in/out, schedules lab, radiology, oncology clinic, and infusion center visits, and supports care teams with coordination and service excellence.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills; healthcare scheduling background is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school education or equivalent required; 3 years post-secondary ed or relevant experience.
• Healthcare scheduling or registration experience preferred.
• Strong communication, organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a proactive, self-directed manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide complex clerical support relating to scheduling of services and/or surgical procedures.
• Coordinate patient lab, radiology, oncology clinic, and infusion center appointments.
• Assist patients, nurses and providers with scheduling and navigation of care.
• Support clinic team with administrative tasks as assigned.
