Job summary

Advocate Health Care in Green Bay is seeking a part-time Medical Sonographer to join the Imaging Services team. You will perform obstetric and pelvic ultrasound procedures, select transducers and adjust technical factors, and participate in quality assurance and student instruction.

The role requires ARDMS certification within set timelines and the ability to lift and move equipment throughout shifts. The schedule is Sun-Sat with variable hours, start times 7 AM to 5 PM, weekend rotation.

Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge of fetal abnormalities and their diagnosis.
• Proficient in performing scans across anatomical areas with normal vs abnormal identification.
• Excellent communication and patient service skills; proficient with EMR/e-mail.

Responsibilities

• Perform obstetric and pelvic ultrasound procedures and related genetic studies.
• Select transducer and adjust technical factors for accurate imaging.
• Calibrate and maintain ultrasound equipment and participate in QA activities.
• Assist in instruction of students and residents; document billing codes.
