Job summary

Advocate Health in Wisconsin is seeking a Medical Sonographer to operate ultrasound equipment for general, vascular, and cardiac studies. You will review patient history, orders, and ensure exam accuracy, while labeling images and maintaining accurate RIS records.

Must be RDMS/RDCS certified, with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work in a team. Hours are 32 per week, with a pay range of $41.10–$61.65 per hour, rotating between clinics in West Allis and Franklin.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in general and vascular sonography procedures.
• Able to differentiate normal vs. pathologic findings.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients.

Responsibilities

• Operate ultrasound equipment for general, vascular and cardiac studies.
• Review medical records and orders to ensure exam accuracy.
• Position patient and adjust transducers for optimal imaging.
• Identify and label images with patient data and study information.
• Maintain records in RIS and document billing codes.
