Job summary

Oak View Group is seeking a Suite Attendant for Principal Park in Des Moines, IA. The role covers setup, service, and teardown of suite dining, with bartender duties if needed, during events.

The position is hourly at $14.00 and tip eligible per the union agreement. Availability to work a regular event-based schedule, including days, nights, weekends and holidays, is required. Open until October 16, 2026.

Qualifications

• Minimum High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 1+ years’ experience serving in food service.
• Ability to perform basic math (addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, percentages).
• Professional interpersonal communications with guests and managers.
• Maintain confidentiality of private information and contracts.
• Detail-oriented, organized, multi-tasking in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays per Iowa Cubs schedule.

Responsibilities

• Set up, maintain, execute, and tear down advanced event food and beverage services in suites.
• Oversee assigned suites or private locations during events.
• Provide excellent guest service and maintain attendance.
• Assist Premium Services Manager with prep, stocking, opening/closing procedures, and cleanliness.
• Accurately report orders, tax, and service charges; serve meals and beverages as required.
• Read BEOs and ensure proper setup, linen, dishware, and timing per event menu.
