Job summary

Tempur Sealy in Town of Amherst, NY seeks a Tempur-Pedic Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service while selling Tempur-Pedic products across stores in the local area. The role includes travel between stores to support team leadership and drive store performance.

You will lead in the sales process, maintain Tempur Sealy's brand standards, and continue to perform all retail associate duties at a high level.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years' retail experience with high‑end luxury and/or custom products.
• Strong sales skills in a consultative environment.
• Ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Skilled at current best practice retail methods, procedures, and standards.
• Demonstrated collaborator able to both lead and follow.
• Flexibility in work schedule reflecting the needs and patterns of store hours.
• Fluency with current retail software / computer systems.
• Must be able to stand for lengthy periods of time and occasionally lift items.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
• Travel to stores that operate within close geographic proximity and support in team lead responsibilities.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care, maintaining a professional appearance, and adhering to company policies and Tempur Sealy's brand.
• Continue to perform all Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level.
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and with the sales team.
• Assist the store manager with merchandising, implementing company programs, and other needs.
• Solve problems within the sales team and direct larger issues to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
