Job summary

Tempur Sealy is seeking a Store Sales Associate to deliver exceptional customer service and drive sales for Tempur-Pedic products. This role may act as a manager when the Store Manager is unavailable, including opening/closing duties and leadership tasks.

You will contribute to maintaining store performance, implementing company programs, and supporting merchandising efforts while upholding the Tempur Sealy brand across all customer interactions.

Qualifications

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of retail experience with high‑end luxury or custom products.
• Strong consultative sales skills.
• Ability to lead, direct, and train others in a store setting.
• Familiar with current best practice retail methods and standards.
• Collaborative, able to both lead and follow.
• Flexible work schedule reflecting store hours.
• Fluency with current retail software/computer systems.
• Ability to stand for long periods and lift items as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist in managing and maintaining responsibility for the overall performance of the store.
• Provide leadership in all areas of the sales process, including customer service and care, maintaining a professional appearance, adhering to company policies and procedures, and maintaining Tempur Sealy's brand.
• Continue to perform all the Retail Sales Associate responsibilities at an exceptional level.
• Assist the Store Manager in identifying deficiencies and solving problems in the store and within the sales team.
• Assist the store manager with merchandising, implementing company programs, and other needs.
• Solve problems within the sales team and direct larger issues to the Store Manager.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
