Job summary

Delaware North Sportservice at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, NY is seeking a full-time Premium Services Supervisor to join our team. You will support the Premium Club Manager in operating premium club concessions, bars, table restaurant service, and in-seat service.

The role requires supervising staff, handling guest inquiries, ensuring knowledge of menu items to answer questions and process transactions, and maintaining a clean, safe environment while assisting with scheduling and inventory

Qualifications

• 2+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume front-of-house environment.
• Experience with a POS system.
• Excellent guest service skills.
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct multiple associates.
• Good leadership and training abilities; ability to delegate tasks.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates premium club staff and provides feedback.
• Resolves problems with associates, guests, and operations with the Premium Club Manager.
• Learn and be comfortable with all food and beverage items to answer guest questions and process transactions.
• Maintain a clean, organized, stocked and safe area; report inventory and safety issues.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures as outlined by standards.
• Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, ordering and inventory control.

The opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is searching for a full-time Premium Services Supervisor to join our team at KeyBank Center in Buffalo, New York. As a Premium Services Supervisor you will assist the Premium Club Manager in the operation of the premium club concessions, bars, table restaurant service, and in-seat service.

Pay

$21.00 – $23.00 / hour

What will you do?

• Supervises and coordinates premium club staff, including training on company and departmental standards and providing constructive and corrective feedback as needed
• Analyzes and resolves problems with associates, guests, and the operation with the assistance of the Premium Club Manager
• Learn and be comfortable with all food and beverage menu items to effectively complete financial transactions and answer guests’ questions
• Maintain a clean, organized, stocked and safe area. Immediately reports any low inventory and safety and maintenance issues
• Completes and assists staff with opening and closing duties as outlined according to departmental standards
• Assists department manager with scheduling, timekeeping, ordering and inventory control

More about you

• Minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience in front-of-house restaurant or foodservice position, in a high volume environment, required
• Previous experience with a POS system
• Excellent guest service skills
• Strong time management and organizational skills; ability to direct the work activities of several associates simultaneously and plan ahead
• Good leadership and training skills; ability to teach others as well as delegate tasks
• Basic math skills; ability to accurately account for cash and inventory
• No college degree required

Physical requirements

• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds for set-up, service and clean up of suite
• Ability to stand and walk for entire length of shift, including walking up and down stairs and lifting as the work duties demand
