Job summary

We Insure Group is seeking an experienced Premium Operations Manager to lead the commissions team, ensuring timely processing and accurate reconciliation of insurance commissions. You will collaborate with Agency Bill, Direct Bill, and franchise partners, driving efficiency and high service levels across our growing network.

You will manage a team, optimize workflows, and use systems like Applied Epic and Jira to resolve issues and deliver excellent franchise experiences.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in insurance brokerage operations including commissions, Agency Bill and Direct Bill.

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end insurance commission process with accurate reconciliation, reporting and payments.
• Oversee day-to-day workflows: reconciliations, Agency Bill, Direct Bill, trust accounting, cash & refunds, carrier payments.
• Coach and develop commissions team; manage priorities and performance.
• Serve as primary contact for franchise owners and carriers; use Jira to manage requests and communicate.
• Identify opportunities to optimize operations by SLAs, streamlined workflows and reduced errors.
• Maintain Applied Epic and other platforms for reports, audits and improvements.
• Collaborate with Finance for month-end close; ensure reconciliations and entries are timely.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and drive system enhancements.
• Establish KPIs and SOPs to support scalable operating model.
