Job summary
Best Buy seeks a Custom In-Home Installer to install and calibrate premium audio/video and networking gear in residential and commercial spaces, running wires through walls to connect components for a seamless experience.
You will deliver a premium in-home installation, troubleshoot devices, and ensure equipment is properly calibrated across multiple zones, while coordinating with designers and maintaining equipment.
Qualifications
- 6 months experience in one or more: sales, delivery, installation, repair OR military equivalent
- 1 year of customer service experience
- Current, valid driver's license
- Have and maintain a driving record meeting Best Buy safety standards
- Ability to lift/carry products weighing 75 lbs individually or 150 lbs as a team
- Ability to work flexible schedule including holidays, nights, weekends
- Must be at least 21 years of age
Responsibilities
- Drives a positive customer experience by building relationships and providing solutions to needs
- Provides clients with a premium in-home experience during delivery, including setup, tutorial on products, troubleshooting, and installation of premium audio/video equipment
- Effectively calibrates high end premium audio/video equipment that can be in multiple zones in a home or business
- Maintains equipment and van
- Assists Custom Installation Lead in daily paperwork and weekly recaps
- Assists in building audio/video furniture for customer deliveries
- Consults with System Designers on installation jobs
