Job summary

CAV Integrated Home is hiring a Lead AV Installation Technician to design and install premium home systems in residential environments in the Bluffton area. The role focuses on clean rough-ins, precise trim work, and high-quality craftsmanship, with a Monday–Friday schedule and full-time hours.

Responsibilities include rough-in wiring, CAT6/Coax/ speaker wiring, and installing TVs, cameras, and control touchpoints.

Qualifications

Residential AV or low-voltage installation experience.
Strong rough-in and trim-out skills.
Experience terminating Cat6, coax, and speaker wiring.
Ability to read construction plans.
Professional appearance with attention to detail.
Dependable, self-motivated, and able to work independently.
Able to lift 50 lbs., climb ladders, and work in active construction environments.
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

Complete structured wiring rough-ins for luxury residential new construction.
Install Cat6, speaker wire, coax, fiber, conduit, and low-voltage wiring.
Perform trim-out installations including TVs, architectural speakers, surveillance cameras, wireless access points, touchscreens, keypads, and equipment racks.
Read blueprints and wiring documentation.
Coordinate with builders and other trades to keep projects on schedule.
Label, test, and document installations.
Maintain clean, organized job sites and uphold CAV's quality standards.
