Highgate Hotels is seeking a Room Attendant at its Residence Inn Portland/Scarborough location. The role involves maintaining clean and inviting guestrooms and delivering attentive guest service. You will follow standards for cleaning, restock supplies, and report any maintenance needs.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Must be able to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally and 20 pounds frequently.
• Ability to stand during entire shift.
• Effective communication with guests and staff.

Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean guestrooms according to standards.
• Complete all pre-cleaning duties and restock supplies for housekeeping carts.
• Remove trash and dirty linen from guestrooms and hallways.
• Keep hallways and public areas clean and vacuumed.
• Restock cleaning cart for the next day.
• Replenish chemical bottles.
• Report missing items to Housekeeping Supervisor/Manager.
• Report maintenance repairs to Supervisor/Manager.
• Handle Lost and Found items per standards.
• Ensure overall guest satisfaction.
