Job summary

The Apex Grille at M1 Concourse's X Center in Pontiac, Michigan is seeking experienced hosts for our opening team. You’ll greet guests warmly, manage reservations and seating, communicate wait times, and help maintain a smooth dining-room flow.

Upscale-casual and high-volume hospitality experience is preferred, with a focus on genuine warmth and professionalism throughout every guest interaction. As a Host, you will coordinate with servers, managers and culinary staff to ensure guests feel seen

Qualifications

• Hospitality experience preferred.
• Strong communication and multitasking abilities.
• Ability to manage reservations and seating efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Record reservation details and party information accurately.
• Adjust seating based on size, availability and capacity.
• Answer calls and respond to reservation inquiries professionally.
• Assist with large parties, private events and special functions as assigned.
• Maintain a clean, organized host stand and waiting area.
• Escort guests to tables and provide menu introductions with warmth.
• Provide accurate wait-time estimates and update guests as needed.
• Coordinate with servers and kitchen leadership to balance seating and service quality.
