Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a dedicated Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join our team. Under supervision of a Physical Therapist, you will deliver patient-centered treatments and document progress in accordance with facility policy.

Experience with long-term care or geriatric patients is preferred. A valid Florida license is required, with a commitment to reliability, professional conduct, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary staff.

Qualifications

• Must have an active professional license and registration for the state of FL.
• Provide comprehensive treatment to patients under supervision of Physical Therapist.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not required.
• Strong documentation writing skills and timely progress notes.
• Collaborates with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Professionalism, punctuality, and adherence to policies are required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out best-practice treatments under PT supervision.
• Deliver therapy aligned with goals set by the PT.
• Document patient progress and feedback as required by policy.
• Collaborate with the rehabilitation team to optimize care.
