Job summary

The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is actively seeking a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our caring, five-star rehab team. The PTA will deliver treatments under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, following established goals and ensuring thorough documentation.

Ideal candidates have experience in geriatric or long-term care settings, strong documentation skills, and a commitment to confidentiality and professional conduct.

Qualifications

• Must hold valid FL PTA license/registration.
• Experience in long-term care or geriatric settings preferred.
• Strong documentation and progress note-writing skills.
• Collaborates with multiple disciplines for patient-centered care.
• Punctual, professional, and reliable with scheduled hours.
• Complies with HIPAA and patient privacy rules.
• Experience with Case Mix Index and PPS scheduling preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Carry out treatments under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Provide treatment per individualized goals developed by PT.
• Document patient progress weekly and maintain timely notes.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to ensure best patient-centered care.
• Adhere to facility policies and report to Director of Rehabilitation as required.
