The Savoy at Fort Lauderdale Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking a qualified Physical Therapy Assistant (PTA) to join its skilled rehabilitation team.

You will provide treatment under the supervision of a Physical Therapist, document patient progress, and collaborate with care teams to deliver patient-centered care in a long-term/geriatric setting. Reliability, professionalism, and timely charting are essential to success.

Formación

• Must have a valid professional license and registration for state of FL.
• Experience with long-term care and/or geriatric care is preferred but not required.
• Well versed with documentation writing.

Responsabilidades

• Carry out best practice treatments under supervision of the Physical Therapist.
• Provide feedback to the supervising physical therapist via documentation.
• Document patient progress on weekly notes in a timely fashion.
• Collaborate with all disciplines to provide patient-centered care.
• Maintain professionalism and report to work on time.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Director of Rehabilitation.
• Compliance with confidentiality and HIPAA.
