Job summary

LEGENDS GLOBAL is seeking a culinary professional to support all culinary operations under the Executive Culinary Team. Responsibilities include following recipes, maintaining station standards, and ensuring high-quality, safe food service in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation is $27.90 per hour. The role requires at least 18 years old, ServSafe/Foodhandler certification, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Work is on-site in Inglewood, CA with event-based hours.

Qualifications

• 1 year entry-level cooking and food prep experience in premium services or high-volume venues.
• Must be able to communicate with co-workers and management.
• Strong commitment to customer service with demonstrated culinary skills.
• Customer service oriented with ability to interact with all levels of management.
• Flexible to work extend hours including late nights, weekends and holidays.
• Team environment experience required.
• High level of attention to detail and organization.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Willing to work hours that vary with event schedule.
• Must lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a friendly, positive attitude and professional demeanor.
• Execute station requirements to the Executive Culinary Team's specifications.
• Follow recipes and cook to desired specifications.
• Knowledge of basic knife skills and production techniques.
• Knowledge of cold food production (guacamole, salads, dressings, etc.).
• Work at a buffet action station.
• Show willingness to learn and adapt.
• Follow County Health/Sanitation and Legends Hospitality standards.
• Multitask in a fast-paced environment.
• Provide efficient service and quality products.
• Ensure equipment is in proper operational condition and cleaned regularly.
• Rotate to other service locations as needed.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
