Job summary

Legends Global is seeking a Prep Cook to join our Food & Beverage team. You will perform prep work, follow approved recipes, and assist the Executive/Sous Chef in delivering high-quality meals for large events. The role is based on-site and pays hourly between $18.00 and $20.00, non-exempt.

You will maintain sanitary stations, portion foods accurately, and support plating for catered functions. This position includes a generous benefits package and opportunities for growth within Legends Global.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1 year of banquet facility cooking experience.
• 2 years culinary degree or continuing education preferred.
• 3 years experience as cook preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain organized, sanitary workstation.
• Follow recipes and production standards.
• Prepare meats, vegetables, proteins, starches, and soups per recipes.
• Label and date food items for storage.
• Organize storage rooms, refrigerators, freezers.
• Minimize waste by controlling overage and usage.
• Educate seasonal kitchen staff on procedures.
• Assist with plating of catered meals.
• Supervise temporary labor.
