Job summary

Ventana Canyon is seeking a friendly server to take food and drink orders, describe specials, and ensure timely service in a fast-paced dining room.

Responsibilities include handling checks, operating the POS system, maintaining clean stations, and participating in staff meetings. Must be 18+, able to pass background checks, and complete alcohol awareness training; high school or equivalent required.

Qualifications

• One to three months related experience and/or training.
• High School or equivalent education required.
• Alcohol Awareness Training.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must be able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers promptly after preparation.
• Describes daily specials and answers questions about menu items.
• Follows established standards for greeting, service, and delivering orders.
• Handles checks and cash transactions using the POS system.
• Maintains organized workstations and supports side work duties.
• Participates in staff meetings and reports guest satisfaction or needs.
