Job summary

Duties will mostly include taking food and drink orders and writing them down on order slips and ensuring that tables are served properly.**Duties/ Responsibilities:*** + - Provides immediate attention to all guests upon seating. - Describes and specials of the day to the guest. Answers questions regarding any menu item and offer suggestions of menu items when appropriate. - Takes food and beverage orders from guests and delivers food to guest promptly after preparation. - Follows-up with guests to ensure satisfaction. Replenish items as needed. - Participates in pre-shift meetings and taste tests. - Maintain organized workstations and side work duties. - Accountable for checks and cash transactions. Utilizes Point of Sale System. - Follow established systems for taking, placing, and delivering orders. - Follows established standards for greeting, cocktail service, and food delivery and general service techniques. - Practices tray service for all food and beverage service. - Incorporates safe work practices in job performance. - Maintains flexibility to take on new and different tasks as directed by the department manager. - Attend staff meetings. - Follows-up with guests to ensure satisfaction.
