Job summary

Southern Glazer’s Beverage Company in Massachusetts seeks a friendly Sales Representative for the Premium Division serving Worcester, Shrewsbury and Boylston MA territory to grow market share and promote our wine and spirits brands.

You will build relationships with bars, restaurants and liquor stores, present tastings and demonstrations, and coordinate with Credit and other teams to keep accounts in good standing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Business or related field.
• 21+ years old.
• Experience in alcohol sales or hospitality preferred.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and CRM software.
• Knowledge of wines or WSET preferred.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with customers (bars, restaurants, liquor stores).
• Develop, present and promote sales strategies and activities (tastings / demonstrations).
• Answer customers’ questions about products, pricing, availability and uses.
• Review customers’ credit status and coordinate with Credit to ensure accounts are in good standing.
• Participate in sales meetings, trainings and trade events.
• Create sell sheets and sales presentations using Microsoft Office.
• Maintain knowledge of technology to support selling and supplier strategies.
