Job summary

Convene Hospitality Group is seeking an AV Operations Specialist in Boston to join our Operations team. The role focuses on delivering AV services for meetings and events, partnering with property teams, and ensuring a seamless guest experience.

You will support networking, audio, video, HSIA, conferencing, webcast, and basic lighting while collaborating with the tech and event teams to exceed client expectations. This position requires flexibility and physical ability for event setups.

Qualifications

• 3+ years’ AV and IT support experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide ad-hoc troubleshooting and assistance to customers of all technology competency levels.
• Troubleshoot AV equipment including audio, video, lighting, computer networking systems, and hardware.
• Pre-program coordination with property teams and the AV Operations Manager to meet needs.
• Provide anticipatory customer service and build relationships with Convene team members, divisions, and vendors.
• Attend PEO, Pre-Con, and pre-production meetings as needed.
• Support day-to-day floor operations and assist with other AV functions.
• Develop and maintain client relationships and assist with requests during programs.
• Collaborate with Production for client experience understanding before meetings.
