Job summary

ProAssurance seeks a Premium Audit Executive to lead audits for large and complex accounts within the Eastern Alliance line. This role requires extensive travel, strong analytical skills, and a focus on building durable client relationships while ensuring audit integrity and accuracy.

The successful candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in a related field, have 10 years of field premium audit experience, and be proficient with Microsoft Office and AGO systems.

Qualifications

• Requires a bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, insurance or related field.
• Ten years of field premium audit experience required; advanced certification or training (APA or CIPA) preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and ability to learn new software.

Responsibilities

• Manage audit assignments with territorial focus on large and complex accounts, analyzing operations and data for correct classifications and premium basis.
• Assist manager with Visual Audit Administrator rights, audit ordering, AGO processes, and aging 120‑day audits with recommendations.
• Lead, coach, and train junior staff; deliver formal training and support professional development.
• Serve as main regional contact; resolve audit disputes and collaborate with other departments on efficiency projects.
• Prepare reports for management and communicate audit results to customers and clients.
• Travel up to 80% as needed; participate in industry functions to promote the company.
