Job summary

ProAssurance is hiring for a field premium auditor to perform audits of insured operations, classify exposures, and prepare reports. You will manage time across audits, travel up to 80%, and maintain customer relationships while working in a hybrid environment with occasional office visits.

We seek candidates with a bachelor’s in accounting/related field, strong Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to learn quickly. Excellent communication and independence are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, business, finance, insurance or related field.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office; ability to learn new software.
• Attention to detail, deadlines, and analytical problem solving.
• Strong verbal and written communication; able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Select audit assignments and manage process for larger accounts with focus on productivity and cost control.
• Perform audits of insureds’ operations, reviewing classifications and data from financial records.
• Schedule audits, transmit completed audits, and manage inventory.
